Conductor Benjamin Bayl has chosen a jubilant collection of Bach’s masterwork for this special performance. The sanctity of the nativity and the wonder of the Christmas season sing through pastoral woodwind and triumphant brass, as the conservatorium theatre becomes a poignant cathedral of sound. Soloists Sara Macliver, Stephanie Dillon, Paul McMahon and Shaun Brown are joined by the expressive qualities of the Brisbane Chamber Choir, in one of the most eloquent tributes to the festive season.
