2nd year Acting students will be performing in a brand new work by the Brisbane writer and playwright, Claire Christian.

Commissioned by Queensland Conservatorium especially for the inaugural Bachelor of Acting cohort, this new Australian theatre production gives the students an opportunity to investigate the creation of an original piece of writing with a professional writer/director, on the development of a new play.

Claire won the 2016 Text Prize for her book Beautiful Mess, which has been translated into Dutch and German and was shortlisted for the 2018 Gold Inky Award. Claire’s last production was Lysa and the Freeborn Dames for La Boite Theatre, where she is their Youth Participation Producer.
