Peter Morris conducts a contemporary orchestral program featuring the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and the newly-formed Contemporary Studio Orchestra. Symphonic works will include Ginastera’s Harp Concerto featuring student soloist Linley Chai, Lutoslawski’s Chain 3 and a world premiere by QCGU student composer, Mark Matuschka. The Contemporary Studio Orchestra will present the world premiere of A Path on Which to Travel by Head of Jazz, Steve Newcomb in addition to Paul Grabowski’s ARIA-nominated song Angel, featuring jazz vocalist from New York, Kavita Shah.  Don’t miss this evening of contemporary symphonic collaborations.
