60th Anniversary Gala

JUST ANNOUNCED: Trumpet alumnus and sound artists Peter Knight will join Ensemble in Residence Clocked Out and conductor John Curro will make a triumphant return to conduct the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra.

Celebrate the Conservatorium’s 60th anniversary with a gala concert featuring award-winning alumni and students performing a diverse program of jazz, musical theatre, opera and orchestral repertoire.

Highlights of the night will include the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and the opera students performing a selection from Verdi’s Falstaff and the musical theatre department presenting a number from 42nd Street.

ARIA award-winning vocalist Katie Noonan will front the All-Star Big Band alongside Kristin Berardi and saxophonist Zac Hurren, and Grammy award-winning flautist Tim Munro will return from Chicago for a genre-bending performance.

Opera alumna Milica Ilic and musical theatre alumnus Billy Bourchier will return to lead the combined voices of musical theatre and opera students for the grand finale from Bernstein’s operetta Candide. Truly a night to remember!
